Provision of administrative support for the Operations Department for Brownhills.
Main Duties:
- Generation of IPOs for the SAP system in line with the IPO Procedure, seeking Managers/Directors approval based on the IPO figure.
- Supporting Managers & Supervisor with note taking in back to Work Interviews and appropriately filing these notes in personnel files.
- Supporting Managers & Supervisors with requirements to complete sign off sheets in any training that is completed.
- Providing holiday cover for the Stock Control Administrator.
- Supporting the Site Operations Manager / Plant Manager with administrative duties when liaising with Customer Services, Site Chemists, and incoming consignment notes.
- Support in the scanning of incoming 'hard copies' of paperwork associated with consignments of waste into the Transfer Station and updating the Transfer Station to Post Acceptance SharePoint file.
- Be the point of contact for Customer Services regarding liaising with Chemists and Site Supervisors for any missing paperwork or weighbridge tickets.
- Updating and maintaining any filing system relating to Operational Check sheets for equipment in the Transfer Station.
- Updating monthly site KPI information for the Senior Leadership Team.

- Support and contribute to all aspects of "good" safety and health, daily awareness of safety issues and wellbeing awareness.
- Fully responsible for your own and others' health and safety
- Ensure all incidents, observations and concerns are reported through an escalation process; solutions are identified and actions, in line with Company policy.
- Ensure ideas for the improvement of safety are listened to and acted upon, involving the Health and Safety representatives and HR Management if necessary.
- Ensure nonRED employees (visitors, third parties and contractors) conform to the Health and Safety Policy including using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Raise a Corrective Action Report for any concern or improvement opportunity.
- Fully support and implement local and Group wide efficiency plans, minimizing energy and usage of natural resources.
- Champion a "right first time" culture to target zero nonconformities and zero accidents/incidents.
Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Good organisational skills
- Computer literate with good Excel skills
- Experience in working in a small team
- Desirable to have previous Waste Industry Experience
- Desirable to have experience of using SAP.

- GCSE English
- GCSE Maths
- GCSE Science

- Using SAP

Person Specification:
- Demonstrable fact based intuitive internal and external business relationship building.
- Knowledge of waste legislation and the waste supply chain
- Proven track record in professional customer service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills to enable efficient working for everyone involved in an endtoend company process.
- Excellent Team Working ethic and Organisational Skills
- Hazardous Waste/Technical Waste Sales experience
Development Academic:
- IOSH Working Safely
- Classification and Coding of Wastes: WM
- Understand Hazardous Wastes and Related Legislation
Desirable Training:
- First Aid at Work 3 Years
- Fire Marshall
