JOB SUMMARY


Located at our headquarters in Milton Keynes the
Coordinator, Travel Logistics is responsible for all travel requirements across the business.
ted is looking for a dynamic and assertive Coordinator, Travel Logistics to help support the Procurement department with all travel logistics requirements.

Working with some of the biggest brands in the travel & tourism industry, the role will involve being the main point of contact for all travel requirements in the business.


Due to the seasonal nature of the UK and international travel & tourism industry and the high volume of business that this brings, there will also be a requirement to support the Group Procurement Manager with general purchasing requirements for various projects throughout the year.

  • Optional 2 full days working from home

KEY TASKS

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Coordinating worldwide travel requirements on behalf of ted
  • Organising travel arrangements from beginning to end and booking flight tickets, accommodation, car hire, taxi and train tickets
  • Supplying employees with written itineraries, maps, guides and other relevant travel information when required
  • Proactive approach to travel logistics sourcing and pricing to meet location and budgeting needs
  • Maintaining existing good working relationships with our travel suppliers.
  • Main point of contact for all travel requirements at ted.
  • Willingness to participate and deliver training appropriate to own development
  • Effectively performing administrative duties and follow processes accurately
  • Assist the Procurement department with occasional general purchasing to support during busy periods
  • Assisting with the daytoday operation of the department
  • Some ad hoc weekend cover may be required

Support Responsibilities:


  • Prepare overseas trip forms and documentation for Maintenance Engineers
  • Central business support for all travel bookings (flights/trains/taxi/car hire/accommodation etc)
  • Support the Group Procurement Manager in daily tasks
  • General purchasing requirements when needed

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Previous experience in an admin role is essential
  • Previous experience in travel logistics desired
  • Excellent customer Service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work well without supervision
  • Methodical, organized and accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • IT skills such as MS Word, Excel, MSFT Teams, Outlook, PPT,
