Ensure the achievement of and improvement on, all required service objectives, targets and standards. Achieve financial targets ensuring the efficient and effective use of financial, staffing, and physical resources.Effectively lead the management team in their span of control and ensure there is a focus on what needs to be achieved, and how this will be done.
Provide inspirational, compassionate, and facilitative leadership to all staff within their span of control Maintain effective partnerships with external stakeholders, including Local Authority, GP groups, ICS, acute care providers and the voluntary sector.
Ensure there are effective systems, policies, and procedures to manage clinical and non-clinical risks and maintenance of an up-to-date risk register.
Maintain and develop effective systems for learning from adverse incidents and complaints and embedding subsequent changes in practice and procedures.
Ensure optimal use of clinical and management information to inform the efficient use of resources and delivery of high-quality services.
Lead and sustain a workplace culture that ensures the dignity and respect for all service users and their carers.Ensure excellent communication systems and necessary relationships are in place, so staff are involved in decision making and informed about those decisions.
Ensure there are effective systems in place to support the meaningful involvement of patients and carers in service development and delivery.
