    We have an outstanding opportunity for a highly effective and motivated experienced Geography teacher to lead a vibrant, successful department at the core of our friendly and forward thinking Humanities Faculty.

    Are you an inspirational and enthusiastic Geography Teacher looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about the Geography Curriculum and nurturing the next generation of Geographers? This is an exciting time to join our enthusiastic, passionate Geography team as their leader.

    As Head of Geography, your focus will be on leading a team of Geography experts and supporting them in developing their Geographical knowledge and classroom practice.

    You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Head of Religious Studies and Head of Humanities Faculty.

    Due to Washwood Heath Academy being an all through Academy, there is potential to teach learners in all Key Stages and work with colleagues in the Primary phase to develop a better understanding of how learners develop geographical skills in Key Stage 1 and 2.
