Description

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a large well known commercial business with offices in Uckfield, East Sussex to recruit a Temporary Assistant Accountant on an initial 6 month contract.

Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting and supportingthe Financial Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for the smooth running of the day to day finances for the business.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Production of reporting pack at halfyear and full year.
Reviewing packs submitted by subsidiaries and following up on queries raised.
Assist in the preparation of the Group's annual and interim financial statements and City presentation.
Liaise with auditors to ensure queries raised are resolved in a timely manner.
Monthly management accounts
Supporting the Group Financial Accounting Assistant in preparing schedules for the consolidated management accounts.
Intercompany trading review and follow up on monthly reconciliations.
Assisting with bank drawdown requests.
Dealing with Intercompany loan transfers.
Involvement in other areas including rebates, royalty income and credit insurance.
Ad hoc projects as required by the business.
