Role Purpose


The role of the Marketing Communications Executive is to work with the Marketing Communications Manager to support the translation of strategy and business objectives into tactical marketing communications plans; developing compelling, on-brand communications; project managing activity and measuring results to demonstrate ROI.

This role will support a seamless, integrated service proposition across key sector and business unit activity as part of a team delivering group-wide initiatives.

Key Accountabilites

Supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of effective marketing activity
Coordinates communications across all channels for areas of responsibility including media relations, digital, site branding, strategic awards and events
Works with business stakeholders to identify and create stories, insights and news to take to market
Collates, investigates and copy-writes compelling content for a wide range of channels including intranet, website, and social
Ensures consistency across all communication channels in terms of reflecting our brand values, differentiators, message, tone of voice, brand guidelines and style
Develops effective relationships with key business stakeholders and external suppliers
Ensures activity is aligned across team centres of excellence, engaging with business partners, campaigns, digital, PR & comms, brand and people comms, to deliver an integrated value proposition

Skills and experience

Minimum 1- 2 years' experience in a marketing role (built environment experience desirable)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally basic level in Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of marketing tools and platforms
Brand ambassador mind-set and marketing business partner way of thinking
Positive and can-do attitude with a proactive, practical approach
Flexible, committed team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a very high standard of written English
High self-motivation and the ability to influence others and exercise judgement
Interest in the built environment


Qualifications:

Degree educated or demonstratable level of professional experience - preferably in Business/Marketing
Professional marketing communications qualification desirable
