- Conductpsychiatric assessments to diagnose mental healthconditions
- Develop individualized treatmentplans for patients based on assessmentfindings
- Prescribe and monitor medicationregimens
- Provide psychotherapy and counsellingto patients
- Collaborate with other healthcareprofessionals such as psychologists social workers and nurses toprovide comprehensive care
- Monitor and evaluatepatients progress and adjust treatment plans asneeded
- Educate patients and their familiesabout mental health conditions and treatmentoptions
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medicalrecords
- Participate in multidisciplinary teammeetings and caseconferences
- Minimum four (4)years experience in the relevant field
- Medicaldegree from an accredited university
- Completionof specialty training in psychiatry
- Fullregistration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusionon the Specialist Register forPsychiatry
- Excellent diagnostic and assessmentskills
- Strong interpersonal and communicationskills
- Ability to work effectively as part of amultidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providinghighquality patientcentred care
- Willingness toengage in continuous professionaldevelopment
- Experience working as aPsychiatrist Consultant in a similarsetting
- Knowledge of evidencebased treatmentmodalities for various mental healthconditions
