    As an Agency Mental Health Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in providing specialized care and support to individuals in need, all while advancing your career.

    Conduct comprehensive assessments of male patients with complex mental illnesses in critical psychiatric acute care, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique needs.


    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's requirements.
    • Administer prescribed medications and closely monitor their effectiveness, prioritizing patients' safety and well-being.
    • Deliver therapeutic interventions and unwavering support to patients, fostering a healing and nurturing environment.
    • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, maintaining a safe and secure care setting.
    • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive and integrated care.
    • Advocate for patients' rights and promote patient-centred care throughout their treatment journey.
    Valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).


    • Proven experience in critical psychiatric acute care, specifically with male patients with complex mental illnesses.
    • Ability to excel in an agency capacity, adapting quickly to diverse care environments.
    • Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to varying shift patterns.
