The Role:

Ensuring timely delivery of material within a fast moving high pressure environment.

The Buyer will be responsible for placing purchase orders and chasing material from suppliers in accordance to the internal purchasing policies and procedures.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Raising purchase orders for products in accordance with demand on the company's ERP system
  • Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Updating the ERP system with order details (create Purchase Info Records and update PO delivery dates)
  • Negotiating with vendors pricing and leadtimes
  • Communicating supply dates and risks to supply
  • Other ad hoc purchasing duties.

Your Profile:


  • Experience with ERP systems is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to create and administer a task priority list based on company needs
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
