The Role:

Ensuring timely delivery of material within a fast moving high pressure environment.

The Buyer will be responsible for placing purchase orders and chasing material from suppliers in accordance to the internal purchasing policies and procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

Raising purchase orders for products in accordance with demand on the company's ERP system
Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
Updating the ERP system with order details (create Purchase Info Records and update PO delivery dates)
Negotiating with vendors pricing and leadtimes
Communicating supply dates and risks to supply
Other ad hoc purchasing duties.

Your Profile:

Experience with ERP systems is advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Ability to create and administer a task priority list based on company needs
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
