Full Time Gardener

• Seeking a passionate gardener with a green thumb to join our team at a large show garden for an annual food festival in the beautiful Cotswolds.
• We are looking for someone with a genuine love for all things green, who can assist in propagation, growing, and maintaining flora and organic vegetables.
• The ideal candidate should be meticulous, organized, and able to adapt quickly to the ever-changing garden requirements throughout the seasons.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in gardening is a must.

We are in search of a recently qualified or partially qualified gardener to work alongside an executive gardener/mentor and our long-term part-time gardener.

You will have the opportunity to learn from one of the top organic market gardeners during one-to-one mentoring sessions on-site.

Applicants should have a solid understanding of organic vegetable gardening, seasonal propagation, planting, and be familiar with managing ornamental and herbaceous borders, as well as speciality zones like ferns.

In addition to gardening tasks, you will also assist with hedge trimming, mowing, strimming, and edging the garden's various areas.

The property includes 2 acres of ornamental and edible landscapes, featuring greenhouses, cutting beds, lawns, hedges, flower beds, ponds, and vegetable gardens.

We have a variety of fruit trees, including heritage apple, pear, cherry, gage, apricot, peach, quince, medlar, and fig trees.

Experience or interest in beekeeping would be a plus, as there may be opportunities to support our beekeeper.

Both live-out and live-in options are available, with a two-bedroom accommodation to be determined.
