Functional Safety Engineer - Lincolnshire, United Kingdom - RHL Recruitment
Description
New opportunity to join one of Europe's largest fuel storage and logistics businesses.
You will be an experienced safety engineer with knowledge if DCS, PLC and SCADA.
Salary: Up to £65,000
Location: Flexible, ideally close to one of our client's sites.
The Role
You will be required to apply functional safety knowledge, skill and experience to support the safety lifecycle and advise projects in the design and integration of safety systems. You will also be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining all aspects of company functional Safety management System while supporting the team in delivering the C&I Functional Safety discipline and ensuring risks to operation of plant and equipment are recognised, assessed, and mitigated.
Qualifications and experience
You will posses FS Eng certification coupled with significant working experience and HNC or equivalent and Industry based experience. You will also have knowledge of the following BS EN 61511 FS Lifecycle, experienced in design and development of process control systems (DCS, PLC & SCADA) and safety systems (ESD, SIS, F&G) and knowledge of IEC62443, NIST & OG86 cyber standards
As a self-motivated individual you will show good teamworking, excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate across a wide variety of internal and external customers is essential.
