    The Trust is a leading integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus in the thriving city of Manchester. Ward F16 is an acute emergency gynaecology ward.

    We are a 19 bedded ward comprising of 15 in-patient beds for acute emergency gynaecology patients when admitted from the Emergency Gynaecology Unit (EGU) or ED and we have a 4 bedded day case bay for our daily urgency theatre list.

    To join us, you will be a Registered Nurse with valid registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    If you are a newly qualified member of staff, you will be supported in your transition to your new role with our dedicated preceptorship program.

    The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner.

    Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students.


    The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis.
