Description
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic motivated individuals to help lead and support our large nursing team.Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to support the management of the unit, manage a team of nurses, support staff within the challenging critical care environment and have knowledge of the multi-faceted NHS.
The unit is the North West Centre for Cardiopulmonary Transplantation.We have an established respiratory ECMO service and as part of our heart failure service the unit is able to provide cardiac ECMO.
The Unit consists of a 31 bedded purpose built Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit combing both level 2 and level 3 care.
As a team we are committed to delivering the highest standard of care. The unit encourages and supports staff development to progress your career.
Substantial experience within the cardiothoracic critical care speciality, experience in mentoring , education to diploma level, evidence of level 3 studies,ENB100, critical care course and evidence of personal development are expected of all candidate.
