    Child Development Officer

    What you will be doing:

    As a Child Development Officer at Indigo, you will be a role model for our brand and values. Your responsibilities include providing outstanding service to children, young people, families, and colleagues, ensuring that decision-making is centered around their needs.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Creating a stimulating learning environment for children's development
    • Designing and delivering balanced programs aligned with Early Years Curriculum
    • Ensuring safety, inclusivity, and liaising with external agencies for support
    • Contributing to quality improvement and adhering to regulatory standards
    • Engaging with parents, children, and young people to provide outstanding customer service
    • Handling administrative tasks efficiently and maintaining updated records
    • Participating in training and development opportunities
    • Following health and safety guidelines and protocols

    Requirements:

    • Preferably, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services - Children & Young People or equivalent
    • Proven ability in customer service, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office, attention to detail, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently, in a team, and adapt to new responsibilities
