    English Teacher

    You will be teaching English at a school that prides itself on preparing children for their lifelong journey ahead.

    The area this school serves has its own challenges, with many children from disadvantaged families and a high level of deprivation.

    Your students are coming to school for a safe space and have an abundance of pastoral care available to them and their families.

    Academy leaders have made vast improvements to the curriculum in the past few years, and you will be clear on what you need to teach.

    In your lessons students embark on a journey covering content and developing skills through engaging and practical activities.

    This is an exciting permanent opportunity in a school committed to recruiting the best quality teachers to drive their vision forward.

    You will be really making a difference to children that need it most, some having been through adverse trauma.

    Many teachers say that's what they want to do when they go into teaching, yet not many take on roles to make that a reality.

    This secondary school is based in Birmingham and is recruiting a permanent English Teacher (QTS).

    You will be English to KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5 where applicable, to pupils and inspiring pupils to exceed their target grades.


    Salary:
    Main page scale depending on experience

    Hold a relevant Teaching qualification


    • Have knowledge of teaching English
    • Be able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area
    • Have high expectations of yourself in your career and the pupils you teach
