In your role as a Radioactive Waste Research Manager, you will be part of the Waste Innovation and Science Group which is responsible for the development of a unique strategy for nuclear fusion devices and making fusion energy a reality.

In your role you will be accountable for:

Supervision of researchers and graduates within the waste innovation and science group.
Carrying out experimental programmes
Writing final reports to satisfy stakeholder requirements
Delivering research plans to budget and time.

You'll need:

A STEM Degree or equivalent qualification or proven experience.
Project management experience
Scientific research experience
Good problemsolving abilities and be able to cope under pressure.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.

It would be helpful if you have:

Nuclear Decommissioning experience.
Nuclear Fusion knowledge.
