Our client is a co-educational secondary school which focuses on delivering quality education and prides itself on acheiving nothing except excellence.
The school is looking for someone who can take up the challenge in this role and deliver a great educational experience to its pupils.
History Teacher Responsibilities:
Designing and developing science curriculum in line with national and local standards, ensuring it is engaging, age-appropriate, and meets the needs of diverse learners.
Designing and implementing assessments to gauge students' understanding and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
Identifying and addressing the diverse learning needs of students by providing extra support or enrichment opportunities.
Collaborating with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.
History Teacher Requirements:
PGCE in History with QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
History teaching experience in the last 2 years is essential.
Have the capability to foster curiosity and interest for the subject.
Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
Be committed to child protection, safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
