Are you an approachable, professional, and outgoing individual who is able to confidently supervise a dedicated team and be responsible for day-to-day running of catering services and events at a high energy venue?

Can you engage well with customers, ensuring that they always receive outstanding service, and leave events with a positive impression?


If so then we have the ideal role for you as a Catering Supervisor at a well-known sports and leisure club, based in South Birmingham.


To thrive in this role, you will be confident in delivering outstanding customer-lead service at all times, ensuring that all members of your team also adhere to this standard as you will all be acting as representatives of the club.

Going above and beyondthe call of duty to meet customer requests and exceed their expectations will be second nature to you, as you aim to always deliver superb service.

In this role you must be able to communicate effectively across departments, ensuring that your team is awareof any and all necessary and up to date information to ensure a smooth shift.

Working as part of a larger team, you will be willing to help out as and when needed, supporting team members with their duties to ensure that service and events run smoothly.


Having previous experience as a supervisor in a similar fast-paced customer centred role would be beneficial, as you will be responsible for running an effective team during extremely busy services and events, ensuring that they all result in an outstandingcustomer experience.

This also means that you must be flexible, as you will be required to meet the demands of the individual service requirements, moving between one day working a busy lunch shift and another catering a corporate dinner.

You will be expectedto acquire a good knowledge of all products available, in order to be able to advise customers on the best product for their precise requirements, as well as taking the opportunity to maximise sales opportunities through upselling products which fit customerrequirements.


In return, you will receive a competitive hourly salary of £10.50, as well as the opportunity to work up to 40 hours a week and receive 28 days of annual leave per year.
