    Warehouse Operative

    We are looking for a number of permanent Warehouse Operatives for our client, who are a leader in the freight forwarding industry.


    Key details:
    This is shift work, we need full flexibility from candidates to work both day and night shifts. The role will include working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
    12 hour shifts - 7pm - 7am.
    Premium payments available for unsociable hours - nights and weekends.


    The role and responsibilities:

    • As a warehouse operative you will be using fork trucks to load and unload vehicles.
    • You will be building and breaking down unit load devices.
    • Some manual handling will be involved, although are client are toolsled.
    • Covering a mixture of imports and exports.

    What we are looking for:

    • Highly motivated warehouse operatives with a cando attitude.
    -
    A counter balance forklift license is essential. Reach would also be beneficial, but not essential.

    • Previous experience breaking down and building ULDs (airline pallets) is also essential for this role.
    • Previous experience within an airline or very large forwarding company is highly preferred. Knowledge of aviation codes will be a huge benefit for the position.
