    Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Brent

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspirational and talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant, at a Brent Primary School - a Primary school that takes pride in being a happy, friendly, welcoming and inclusive school.

    As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school whose focus is firmly set on children and their outcomes and maximising every possibility that exists for them to succeed.

    As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for the standards and progress of all the pupils at this Primary School.

    As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, the post holder will:

    ·Provide children and families with the tools to empower them to access the excellent educational opportunities on offer

    ·Have ambition and drive to excel the school on its journey to 'Outstanding'

    ·Have the skills to raise aspiration and achievement for our pupils

    ·Have a sense of humour and the ability to be able to multi-task with energy and enthusiasm

    ·£95 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

    The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:

    ·Meet Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification or experience

    ·Excellent Numeracy / Literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths

    ·Training in relevant learning strategies e.g., literacy

    ·A proven ability to work in a team and on your own initiative

    ·A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults

    ·The ability to use relevant technology / equipment

    ·A can-do attitude

    ·A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school
