About the role
As the Head of ROC (Remote Optimisation Centre) within Optimised, you are responsible for delivering the operational performance of the Energy, Reactive and Proactive engineering teams, ensuring all client engagements are managed effectively.
The ROC is part of the Managed Services division at Optimised delivering a 24/7 service in managing HVAC, Lighting and Energy services to our clients'.
You provide professional, efficient, organised, and flexible support to the Optimised leadership and management function, providing quality and timely support to team members across the business.

What youll actually do
- Review and track customer service delivery processes on a daytoday basis, identifying improvement areas where necessary to ensure high standards to our clients
- Lead the ROC for key clients, serving as main point of contact where senior delivery expertise is required
- Oversee the operations and delivery of all client engagements assigned to the ROC
- Coordinate with other delivery units (Consulting / Engineering) and other OBUs (Operational Business Units within the Managed Services division to ensure that planning and mobilisation works enable efficient ongoing management processes
- Development of all aspects of the ROC, including resources & capabilities, systems and processes in line with the overall objectives
- Development of rigorous data management/health processes for all data types, including balance score cards and KPIs
- Implementation and management of quality client service/helpdesk processes and systems
- Work alongside Key Account Managers to identify priorities and client requirements and ensure the ROC is aligned to client requirements, contractual obligations and our values
- Manage and support recruitment, onboarding, career planning, training and developing your team, including mentoring new and less experienced members
- Visible and approachable leadership presence, to build the teams confidence to achieve commercial results and highquality standards
- Be part of an oncall escalation team to support the team out of hours
What youll need
- Previous operational experience in running a Bureau / Energy team
- Significant knowledge and experience of the BeMS industry at an engineering level; Trend/Tridium/Cylon qualified
- Ability to present open, honest and constructive communication with all staff and managers
- High emotional intelligence listens and questions effectively, concise verbal and written communication skills and effective questioning/listening skills.
