Energy and Sustainability Analyst

A growing sustainability consultancy based in London, is seeking an experienced Energy and Sustainability Analyst to join our team.
As an Energy and Sustainability Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support on projects related to energy modelling, building physics, life cycle assessments, and embodied carbon.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy modelling for buildings, using a range of software tools including IES, EnergyPlus, and eQuest.
- Perform building physics analysis, including thermal modelling, daylight analysis, and natural ventilation simulations.
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) of buildings, products, and materials, using software tools such as One Click LCA.
- Calculate and report on embodied carbon of buildings, products, and materials.
- Assist with the development of sustainability strategies, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for sustainable design and construction.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in sustainable design and construction, including building codes, standards, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in energy modelling, building physics, life cycle assessments, and embodied carbon analysis.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as IES, EnergyPlus, eQuest, One Click LCA.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering highquality work.
- Passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to a more sustainable future.
