We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an Aviation Security Supervisor at one Irelands busiest International Airport.

The Role
Exciting and rewarding, a typical day in the life as an Aviation Security Supervisor.

The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising the security operation on a shift basis at Belfast International Airport.

The Security Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision of all security officers and the compliance of the operation, as well as being the first point of contact for the Duty Manager / Station Manager for any operational issues.


  • Overall supervision of operations
  • Operational briefings
  • Coordination and motivation of team
  • Responsible for the setup of the platform/operations.
  • Coordination and supervision of Quality Monitoring of officers within your work area.
  • To complete and maintain the highest standards of operational paperwork.

  • Be able to work both day and night shifts.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
  • Hold a willingness to work cooperatively and constructively with both your peer group and the leadership provided by department supervisors and management.
  • Have an ability to deliver clear and concise verbal and written reports where necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.

Essential:

  • Hold current CRC (or have no disqualifying criminal convictions and are able to obtain one)
  • Hold current CTC clearance.
  • Fluent spoken/ written English
  • Be available for work 24/7 as the work is shift based.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in aviation security
  • Team Leader/Supervisory Experience
  • GSS Aviation Security qualification.
