Senior .Net Engineer - Remote (Hybrid available)

Tembo is on the lookout for a passionate Senior .Net Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in the continuous development and enhancement of our core service, a .Net application that powers our widely-used mobile app. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including the development of new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of our suite of microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

Feature Development: Lead and contribute to the end-to-end development of new features, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring they meet our quality and performance standards.
Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly evaluate and optimize the performance of existing features, ensuring our application runs smoothly and efficiently.
Bug Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues within our application, enhancing user experience and service reliability.
Code Reviews and Best Practices: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards and practices within the team. Mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product management, QA, and design teams, to ensure seamless integration and alignment on project goals and timelines.
Technical Investigations: Lead and participate in technical investigations to explore innovative solutions and technologies that can enhance our application's capabilities and performance.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on .Net technologies.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and familiarity with microservices architecture. Experience with Azure and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) is highly desirable.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
Continuous Learning: A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
