Description
We are currently recruiting for a junior Lawyer with experience in clinical negligence to join a thriving in-house legal team at a renowned membership organisation in central LondonInvestigating and assisting in both non-contentious and contentious claims within a varied workload, including providing advice, case preparation, and representing members in defence of clinical negligence cases at all stages.
Handling a diverse range of medical-related cases.Supporting the team on clinical negligence cases by attending meetings with members, arranging and attending conferences, and liaising with third-party solicitors, insurers, counsel, and medical experts.
Managing day-to-day operations of claims throughout all stages of litigation.Drafting various documents and correspondence, including witness statements, letters of instruction to counsel, and communications to medical experts.
Coordinating document retrieval, such as medical records and reports.
Conducting legal research to facilitate the team in providing concise and practical advice.
