Maintenance Co-ordinator - Leeds - Up to £24,000
Due to incredible growth, this reputable, award-winning property developer and landlord with over 50 years rental experience is looking to grow their friendly team in Leeds.
This busy, varied, and interesting role requires you to spend time working with tenants, reviewing and investigating maintenance issues with sympathy and due diligence, if successfully done this will spearhead your continued success within this professional driven team.
What you will be doing
- Reviewing and investigating maintenance issues, checking the history of the property, reoccurring issues and checking with previous contractor if protected with warranty cover
- Conduct repairs/assess damage/incidents within tenant property
- Liaising with contractors for quotations, parts, scheduling of remedial tasks and coordinating with the Maintenance Manager and tenant
- Navigating snagging issues and completed jobs with main office
- Scheduling projects with tenants.
- Interim inspections and followup, ensuring building/inspections certificates remain up to date
- Good housekeeping within warehouse and conscious of low stock items needed daily
What you will have
- Previous experience in working within property / property maintenance
- Must be able to relate to tradesmen/contractors
- Hold a full driving licence (work van provided)
- An understanding of HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) would be useful
- Previous experience of complaint handling, ensuring excellent comms are followed up from the onset
- An understanding of Hazards and Health and Safety in the workplace, general maintenance, and repairs
