Salary £55k - £65K plus 10% bonus

Location:
Brinsworth, South Yorkshire

Benefits:
Bonus (10% of base salary), £540 Car allowance or cash value, medical ins. & pension

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

My client, the largest provider of industrial, medical and special gases in the UK urgently requires a Site Leader to manage all Cylinder Filling & Handling activities at their site near Rotherham.

This vacancy will suit an experienced engineer with management skills and a knowledge / understanding of gas control components and potential suppliers.

Duties:

Ensure safe, efficient and costeffective management of site personnel and services provided to customers both internal and external
Act as the responsible site Landlord, providing safe and efficient management of the site, identifying tenants and safety processes by which both parties can clarify and agree their individual responsibilities
You will ensure compliance with COMAH Regulations and Health & Safety legislation. Primary contact with the HSE and all external authorities and agencies, ensuring Legislative compliance always maintained
Provide a safe and fulfilling environment, for all employees based at the Branch. Ensure current and future codes of practice and standards are applied and adhered to, whilst ensuring that all cylinder filling & handling are met consistently. Ensure stock accuracy and control procedures are implemented fully
In addition, you will continuously seek improvements in the Safety and efficiency of local operations through the adoption of Best Operating and Commercial Processes and through the development of the skills and competencies of employees
Achieve the site productivity targets

Requirements:

Ideally HNC or HND qualification (or Commitment to complete if not already qualified)
NEBOSH/IOSH Certificate (or equivalent) (or Commitment to complete if not already qualified)
Significant experience of cylinder filling & handling operations
Experience of people management and development.
Experience working with recognised Trade Union

Knowledge of ISO9001:200

ISO14001 operating procedures and systems
