    Description

    Job Description I am hiring on behalf of a Quant Trading firm keen to strengthen one of their most successful areas with a software developer proficient in Java looking to further their career in a dynamic trading environment.


    This is an opportunity to work within a well-established team working in a fast paced and dynamic environment operating in the front office alongside quant researchers and traders.

    If you do not have prior experience in financial markets then training will be provided to get you up to speed with the companies industry and markets.

    Responsibilities–

    Building new execution algorithms and the platforms on which they run
    Building connectivity to execution venues and brokers
    Developing tools for manual traders, assisting monitoring capability and post-trade performance analysis
    Working collaboratively to optimise all aspects of the trading lifecycle.

    Requirements -2+ years of professional Java experience
    STEM degree
    Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
    Finance experience preferred but not essential
    Willingness to learn and work in a cohesive team
