This Role

To manage an operational site effectively and efficiently. Responsible for warehouse/operations teams at all Warehousing and Operational sites across Southern Operations.

Accountable for the delivery of safety, operational, and other business targets (KPI's) Responsible for the continuous development of people, plant, and equipment.


To support and co-ordinate operational requirements to achieve Filling, Dumping, Vatting and Warehousing production programs as part of a large team.

The role will work dayshift reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Your Unique Contribution

  • Deliver Safety, Environmental, HMRC & Quality business & other legislative requirements
  • To take ownership of all operational plant, equipment, and building structure on site.
  • Contribute to plant and equipment maintenance plan
  • Develop process improvement and reporting using available systems
  • Deliver process improvements from inception to adoption using a variety of communication channels
  • Deliver site operational KPI's through good management of people, plant, and equipment
  • Create a continuous improvement culture for safety, people, operations, & engineering
  • Provide appropriate reports on site performance for teams and senior management
  • Demonstrate good legislative awareness (PUWER, Legionella, COMAH, etc.)
  • Develop a positive relationship between warehousing, operations, operational planning, and customers
  • Maximize utilization of resources
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory control.
  • Ensure appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Provide coaching and development for team members.
  • Take responsibility for own selfdevelopment.
  • Work as part of a team across operational areas
  • Participate in the Management On Call Rota.
