Days only - Mon – Friday

The Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide assistance with planned maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment faults.
• Ensure all engineering work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Legislation
• Repair industrial conveying systems to current Company standards.
• Plan for and assist with the installation of new or relocated equipment.
• Ensure effective maintenance of all equipment .
• Develop maintain and implement planned maintenance schedules and routines for all equipment .
• All other engineering duties as and when required .

The Person:

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following:

Essential

• Time served Mech anical / Electrical or mechatronics.
• Substantial post apprenticeship experience in a mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and/or engineering role
• Experience in problem-solving and rectification on a variety of equipment.
• Knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment
• The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

The Package:

• £36 ,000 - £40 ,000 + overtime (depending on experience)
