Description
An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 community mental health nurse (RMN, full-time or part-time) within the Enhanced Duty team of the Specialist Older Mental Health Service (SOAMHS) based at Mill View Hospital in Hove.
The operating hours of the service are 9am to 5pm Monday to Sunday.There may be a requirement to work out of hours and at weekends on a rota system for which enhancements will be paid.
The enhanced duty team offer intensive assessment and support to older adults with mental health needs.The successful applicant will be responsible for completing mental health assessments, care and risk planning for clients referred to our service.
It would be advantageous if applicants have previous experience of working in the community and in various settings within mental health.
This post offers the Trust's 4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners, as well as a relocation package up to a maximum of 8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).

Evidence of continuous professional development
