    Description

    Our curriculum focuses on equipping graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, innovation, and perspective for a successful career in modern healthcare. We are seeking a Lecturer with current expertise in mental health nursing practice gained through practical experience. Your responsibilities will include actively supporting students in both theoretical and practical aspects. Central to the role is collaborating with colleagues in the nursing field to explore research and scholarly endeavors. Our approach emphasizes partnership with students, educators, researchers, service users, and industry professionals to deliver top-notch education based on the latest research and practices. To thrive in this position, you should have:

    • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
    • A relevant degree in Nursing or a related field
    • A Higher Education teaching qualification and/or HEA Fellowship, or a willingness to obtain one within the initial 12 months
    • Experience in leading and implementing innovative teaching methods for nursing skills and knowledge enhancement in academic or practical settings

    If you hold a PhD or Doctorate and can supervise at that level, you will have the chance to grow within our university's program designed to support early-career researchers.

    This position is ideally a full-time role (37.0 hours per week) based at our Falmer campus. However, we welcome applications from individuals interested in job sharing.
