Description
At SprayClad UK, we specialise in industrial spraying and panel repairs for companies across the UK.

As a preparation you will be focusing on prepping items such as, windows, flashings, doors, panels, variety of wood finishing products and much more.

The process of preparing items, will be demonstrated from the team.

The role will be split between inhouse spray works, located at Bishop Auckland and onsite repair works, across the UK.

Accommodation and stop out rates including food allowance will be provided by SprayClad UK.

Vehicle and fuel cards will be supplied to each team, opportunity to progress to a Spray Technician through inhouse training and development, once preparation operative roles are to a high standard.


The role will include:


  • Sanding items down this including, before spraying, in between coats, filling items
  • Unpack and pack items ready for dispatch
  • Manual handling required to lift items to and from the spray booth
  • Unload panels, doors, joinery items etc from loading bay
  • Keep workspace clean
  • Masking kitchens, windows, shop fronts etc ready for spraying
  • General cleaning of the unit and cleaning and maintenance of spray booth
  • Driving License preferable for this role

Provided

  • Regular PPE will be provided
  • CSCS Card will be funded (required for site attendance)
  • IPAF course will be funded
  • PASMA course will be funded
You will complete the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard and will be support by Optimum Skills.

£6.00 per hour
