DescriptionWe are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join our Toyota Lowestoft team as a Service & Workshop Controller.

Our Toyota Lowestoft has a dynamic Customer Consultant structure that places the customer firmly at the heart of everything we do.

The Service & Workshop Controller will work collaboratively with our team of Customer Consultants to ensure that once the customer's vehicle has been brought in, you will ensure that the operational processes are run smoothly to ensure an excellent experience for the customer.

In order to do this, the role involves supporting the Customer Service Manager to carry out aftersales processes, including the ordering and picking of parts, and working with our team of technicians to ensure that the workshop is running efficiently.

Previous motor trade service department, workshop or parts experience is preferable.

Toyota Lowestoft is part of SLM Group which started as a family company and has grown to include sites across East Sussex, Kent, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Requirements
Key Job Areas of the Service & Workshop Controller role:

  • Ensuring aftersales processes are carried out efficiently to meet aftersales KPIs.
  • Overseeing workshop loading and efficiency.
  • Proactively arranging workshop bookings.
  • Pricing of VHCs/additional work required.
  • Parts ordering, picking and stock control.
  • Work as a full member of the dealership team.

What we're looking for in a Service & Workshop Controller:

  • Vehicle aftersales experience.
  • Vehicle parts experience.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills.
  • Must have flexible 'can do' approach.
  • Polite, calm and approachable personality.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Full UK driving licence.
