    Tasks

    Whatcan you expect

    We offer achallenging but supporting environment on route to becoming aChartered

    Accountant. Your work will involvecommunicating with clients and colleagues ona

    regular basis to be able to produce audited andaudit exempt accounts in a timely

    manner. Weoffer our trainees early responsibility lots of variety challengeand

    stimulation. All trainees are supported welland are appointed a mentor. We have

    excellentstaff retention flexible working and offer quick progression inyour career.

    FirstYear:

    • Your first yearwould consist of learning to prepare a set of accounts forlimited

    companies partnerships soletraders and assisting on statutory auditsby

    completing testing in the profit &loss section.

    • You will be completingthe ICAEW Certificate level modules ofAccounting

    Assurance Business& Finance Law Management Information and Principlesof

    Taxation.

    SecondYear:

    • Your second yearyou would further enhance your audit skills completing allareas

    of the file under thesupervision of a manager.

    • You wouldalso be expected to prepare statutory accounts with minimalmanager

    supervision.

    • Youwill also complete the ICAEW Professional Level modules includingBusiness

    and Planning BusinessStrategy and Financial Management. While coveringoff

    Audit & Assurance FinancialAccounting & Reporting and TaxCompliance.

    ThirdYear:

    • Planning andrunning smaller audits.
    • Leading your own auditteam.
    • Reviewing work done by the team withfeedback.
    • Sitting and passingexams.
    • In this final year you will complete theICAEW Advanced Level Modulesincluding

    Corporate reportingStrategic Business Management and a Casestudy.

    Trainingprovided:

    We provide a three yearfully funded ICAEW study support package to becomea

    Chartered Accountant. The support packageincludes paid study and exam time with

    one of theleading well recognised national specialist trainingproviders.

    Whilst completing the ACAqualification you will be trained and mentoredby

    managers within the firm to be able to preparestatutory accounts management

    accounts plan andexecute a statutory audit and prepare VATreturns.
