- Process invoices on time for supplier payments.
- Check supplier statements, reconciling any issues quickly.
- Monthly Trade Creditors balance sheet reconciliation
- Overall responsibility for maintaining the controls around purchase processes
- Record bank transactions accurately in ERP system
- Bank reconciliations in multiple currencies.
- Arrange payments efficiently.
- Solve any unexpected reconciliation issues.
- Submit VAT returns correctly and on time through ERP system
- Prior experience in transactional/AP role
- Experience with bookkeeping in foreign currency
- Excel skills (pivots, lookups, tables)
- Fully literate with Microsoft Office 365
- Keen attention to detail
- Very good communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Fully accountable for areas of responsibility
- Able to meet deadlines and able to work on own initiative
- Positive and resilient attitude
- Experience with Business Central – BC365 (desirable, not essential)

MacGregor Black is currently partnered with a DIY/Homewares SME retail business on the search for an Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a part-time role (3 days a week) based in Central London.
