- Management Accounting expertise, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Accruals & Prepayments, Budgeting & Forecasting, Cash Flow, and Management Reporting.
- Supervision of an AAT qualified staff member and oversight of their day-to-day financial tasks such as Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Assisting the interim CFO in establishing solid financial processes and controls.
- Significant experience in management and/or statutory accounting, preferably acquired in a practice setting.
- Capability to engage with and influence business leaders to enhance and develop the finance department.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a finance team (prior managerial experience is beneficial but not required).
- AAT Level 4 / Part Qualified (working towards CIMA qualification is a plus).
