Aspen Hill Village are looking for a Staffing Coordinator to work in our care home in Hunslet, Leeds. We are 180 bedded nursing home consisting of 6 individual units.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for inputting rotas onto the system that are planned by the units
Contacting agencies and arranging the booking of agency staff for any shifts that cannot be covered internally.
Discuss staffing in the daily operations meeting with the Senior Leadership Team.
Negotiating new terms and conditions with third party agencies.
Ensure the site is safe with the required staffing levels
Taking into account the skill mix of employees.
Liaising with the recruitment department to ensure staffing levels are sufficient.
Arranging cover for staff sickness, absenteeism or holidays
Moving staff to different units when based on their skill level and resident needs
Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling problems to human resources.

About you:

Organisation: Staffing Coordinators must ensure they're adhering to company CQC regulatory standards, so organisational skills are vital for good Staffing Coordinators.
Relationship building: Staffing Coordinators work directly with line managers and employees on a daily basis. Good working relationships must be formed.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a healthcare planning role and organising jobs.

This is an extremely important role within the company to ensure staff are arranged correctly on shifts on a daily basis.
