The Role

  • We are looking for a Credit Controller to work at our Head Office here in Wolverhampton.
  • Working in partnership with the Head of Credit, this role will deliver timely cash collection of customer debt.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain the company's accounts receivable ledger.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate action to ensure timely payment.
  • Ensuring timely cash collection and recording of customer debt.
  • To maintain accurate administration of customer account and case notes.
  • Work closely with the customer and necessary operational teams to ensure effective resolution of customer debt.
  • Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients, while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Produce regular reports on debtor status and collection progress.
  • Liaise with sales and customer service teams to address any customer queries or disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline credit control processes and improve cash flow.
  • Comply with all relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in credit control is essential.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Adept at building and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and best practices.
  • Team player with a proactive and selfmotivated attitude.
Bonuses up to £325 per month


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
