Senior Azure Engineer - Terraform - Remote (UK) - To 90K


Lorien's client - a growing MSP with staff and customers across the globe operating across CyberSec, Networking, Cloud and more - has asked us to help them in their searches for a Senior Azure Engineer or hands-on Cloud Consultant with hands-on skills withTerraform (hands-on), and exposure to large-scale project delivery to join their team and work with their well-known clients.


This would be suitable for either a hands-on Cloud Consultant with strong Terraform skills and a customer-facing background, or a Senior Cloud Engineer - again with Terraform skills - who may have had some dealings with customer liaison already,or would be happy to step up into this if new to them.

You'll play your part in a team of like-minded folk, all of which have their say, and:

  • Work with customers to grasp their requirements, and translate them into solutions/designs and see this through to implementation, ensuring on-time delivery
  • Writing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform as well as debugging your own and other's code
  • Deliver projects centred around largescale Azure cloud migrations
  • Translate technical concepts to nontechnical individuals
  • Liaise and facilitate workshops with stakeholders at all levels
  • Identify correct tech/tooling/services where appropriate

To truly hit the ground running, you'll need:


  • Must have strong hands-on skills with Terraform:
  • Delivery background involving largescale Cloud migration projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure and IaC
  • Knowledge of Landing Zones and other relevant concepts
  • Excellent customerfacing communication skills to complement your technical expertise
