We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College.

We are looking for highly motivated
Saturday Club - Creative Trainer, for this part-time (2 hours per week) contract to 1st July 2023.


The purpose of this role is to provide session delivery and technical support for staff and participants of National Saturday Club.

Liaising closely with the Curriculum Manager and Head of Department to ensure the postholder's support is directly relevant to the needs of the Directorate in which they are placed, you will assist with;

  • Prepare materials and apparatus for demonstrations and practical session work
  • Monitor stock levels using appropriate systems and maintain clean working areas
  • Care and maintenance of tools/tool stocks and their issue to, and collection from, club members
  • Installation, checking and implementing of new equipment and resources, and ensuring correct operation
  • Delivering in the demonstration of techniques and practices to club members
