About the role
Based in our brand new, purpose-built HQ in Kingston on Thames, and reporting to the MD of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accountancy (TAA) UK, this pivotal Marketing role is an integral part of the UK Leadership Team within the European business area.
The role will be an active part of the UK Marketing / segment leadership team and European leadership team, working with other cross-functional roles as required.
Responsibilities:
- Input into the development, and facilitate the delivery of the TAA UK strategy and operational plan, aligned to the UK & European strategy and operational plan;
- Work closely with the Product leadership team in TAA UK to design and deliver a marketing strategy and operational plan (aligned to the TAA & European strategy) which supports delivery of the business goals and targets of the unit and the wider business;
- Develop and manage a plan for key marketing initiatives across the TAA UK which drives sales, active feature use, customer numbers and revenue growth, and produces tangible return on investment;
- Collaborate across the business unit but also across the UK business and European Team to ensure a consistent and joined up approach to marketing;
- Drive appropriate use of affiliate marketing across UK and demonstrate UK leadership amongst our European peers in TAA;
- Define and manage the UK TAA customer journey & Welcome Cycle from awareness to acquisition to transition into the managed customer space;
- Support our UK accountants & partners creating a strategy with relevant marketing support to education, community & growth within the online eco system;
- Manage, develop and inspire our awesome team of marketeers to fully support the UK business plans;

- Significant experience working at a marketing leadership level, in a fast paced, agile, B2B environment;
- Strong knowledge of the Tax and Accounting industry (experience within a toptier accountancy practice preferred previous experience of working within a software business would also be extremely beneficial);
- Relevant marketing qualification;
- Strong, "allround" marketing knowledge encompassing B2B lead generation, web, digital, events etc.
- Experience with marketing automation software;
- Experience of launching/relaunching websites;
- Significant experience of successfully managing, leading and developing teams of people;
- Ability to contribute to commercial discussions and debates as required;
- Deliveryfocused in a very fastpaced demanding strategic initiative environment;
- Action orientated & able to adapt to rapid changing business requirements while thinking creatively, and exploiting business opportunities.
