ROLE MISSION


Working in partnership with our client, the Billing Specialist will be responsible for the processing and administration of Sales Orders into invoices and driving billing from WIP reports in a timely and accurate manner.

This will involve proactively managing/validating the system data for the client accounts for which they are responsible, ensuring that all invoices are issued in accordance with client billing guidelines, and all client projects in OMG are reconciled on a regular basis.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Support and coordinate the daily activities of the accounts receivable team, processing client invoices, chasing unbilled projects, ensuring account teams are booking work correctly, along with telephone and mailbox enquiries.
  • Process and check a high volume of client sales orders.
  • Deal with invoice queries and issue credit notes where necessary.
  • Analyse WIP data to ensure correct client po cover is in place for future billing. Challenge account teams where necessary to correct OMG data and drive billing/reconciliation of projects.
  • Match sales orders to client purchase orders to ensure invoices are issued with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ensure all sales orders issued from the OMG system are processed on a timely basis.
  • Account for the correct treatment of tax for invoices, ensuring accurate coding.
  • Deal with queries and build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • To fulfil additional / ad hoc duties in order to meet the needs of the business.
  • Act as a team member and assist with general AR deadlines where necessary.
  • Provide support to other team members where necessary.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Strong attention to detail, and good level of numeracy.
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Well organised and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills on the telephone and in writing.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Microsoft Excel vlook ups/pivot tables.
  • Knowledge of SAP/XERO/DV/Paprika is desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years billing or Credit control experience
