There is growing evidence of ethnic inequalities in health care, particularly in relation to access to services. It is believed that 20% ofhealth inequalities relate directly to health service provision and there ismore we can do to prevent or delay ill health and treat people quicker. Thereis also evidence that some ethnic minority communities are moredisproportionately affected by long-term conditions than others.
The Integrated Servicesare one of the Haringey GP Federation largest running group of services, bridgingthe gap between primary care, secondary care, and the voluntary sector. TheIntegrated Services aim to deliver on key national and local strategies toreduce unwarranted variation, by working with specific cohort of patients toachieve better health outcomes.
