Do you want to be part of an evolving Industry one the world can't live without? This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading wireline and flowline manufacturer of renowned high-quality wireline winches, well pressure control equipment, valves, and flowline.
As an apprentice you will develop your skills and gain a strong understanding of modern manufacturing processes in one of the following disciplines.
Mechanical Technician
Start your career with us at NOV as an apprentice Mechanical Technician. Improve your existing problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge, gaining skills in fluid power systems and mechanical assemblies.
You will learn to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and identify the fitting and components used to build these systems.
Following detailed works instructions, you will learn to build complex diesel hydraulic systems, control dashboards, winch skids and measuring heads.
Once completed, these sub assemblies lead to final assembly of our wireline winches and masts where you will learn to test and certify the equipment to the highest standards ready for our customers.
Electrical Technician
Start your career with us at NOV as an apprentice Electrical Technician.
Improve your existing problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge, gaining skills and experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and the identification and selection of appropriate electrical components.
You will learn to work to the most demanding standards in the world—from building and installing equipment for use in hazardous offshore environments, right through to the intense heat of the desert operations.
Your skills will be developed and honed on our K-WINCH product line.CNC Machinist
Start your career with us at NOV as an apprentice Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC)machinist.
You will learn to use your existing mathematical and technical knowledge as a foundation to build and develop skills in processes including CNC programming, CNC turning and CNC milling.
These skills will be developed whilst producing the highest quality components used in subsea and wellhead pressure control equipment, certified to API standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- National 5 (or equivalent) Maths, English (essential)
