The Services Sales Engagement Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Professional Services Sales Engagement function within Ideagen's Professional Services division. This role involves the delivery of Ideagen products through qualified Solutions Consultants and Project Management teams, ensuring alignment with both Ideagen and customer requirements in the ARC and EHSQ domains. The ideal candidate will effectively liaise with Sales and Revenue Teams to create accurate Statements of Work (SoW) documentation, maintaining PS margin and ensuring deliverable outcomes for customers.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales and Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and challenges.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the value proposition of professional service offerings.
- Conduct industry research and competitor analysis to inform proposal messaging and pricing strategies.
- Manage project scope and budget estimations for potential engagements.
- Prepare technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase capabilities.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Participate in sales meetings and client presentations, providing technical expertise and answering client questions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organisations.
- Manage client expectations and communication throughout the sales cycle, addressing concerns and building trust.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements in collaboration with the sales team.
- Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to project delivery.
Project Management and Delivery Oversight:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and escalate as needed.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the sales team, project team, and client throughout the engagement.
- Manage client expectations and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure project success.
- Gather client feedback and prepare post-project reports for continual improvement.
