Fantastic role for a
sales manager to join an Iconic Media Entertainment brand that delivers some of the biggest events across Sport, Hospitality and Fashion.
Responsible for
the sales management and delivery of hospitality revenues across many major events.
This role will be to report to the Sales Director, Strategic Partnerships/SVP, Strategic Partnerships
Key Responsibilities

Plan and build the sales strategy, generate leads and sell all hospitality events:
- Responsible for developing sales opportunities by establishing new networks and effective account management of existing clients
- Business development responsibility around growing client relationships and expenditure as well as developing new relationships through innovative lead generation
- Have responsibility for individual targets
- Have responsibility for team targets
- Maximise all potential revenue to achieve/exceed event targets
- Achieve and maintain high activity of outbound communication including 2 meetings a week
- Actively manage the team on a day to day basis setting the weekly agenda
- Help with regular training and feedback for the team
- Deliver and input to staff annual evaluations
Helping to drive business development with the Sales Director:
- Effective management of individual schedule incorporating regular client meetings and key networking windows
- Management of CRM and key accounts
- Maintain, develop and manage sales database including record of key contacts and sales communication
- Work closely with members of the sales team to develop ideas and approaches
- Report on sales activity and sales results on demand
- Contribute ideas read industry press, exploit knowledge to spot new opportunities
- Update and monitor available inventory
- Effectively liaise with internal departments
Regular weekend work where you may be required to travel to events in line with the events portfolio, across the whole year
- Outside of event travel; there will be a requirement to travel for meetings and networking as part of the role.
Experience
- Experience in a sales role
- Ability to negotiate, close deals and influence key stakeholders;
- Strong telephone sales skills, engaging clients, making leads happen;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to build a strong rapport with clients;
- Experience of managing pipelines and databases
- Experience of managing CRM databases
