SALES ADMINISTRATOR JOB SUMMARY:


SALES ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


Primarily, this role will see the
Sales Administrator will be working closely with the Business Development Managers to further develop their
sales function.

A proactive, confident approach will be required, as you will be following up on leads, and speaking to customers when they enquire about new sales opportunities.


  • Produce quotations and handling queries relating to pricing
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure that the sales team have the support they require, in order to develop the sales function further.
  • Handle day to day queries relating to new sales, invoice queries etc.
  • General sales administration tasks to help ensure that the workload in the team is managed.
  • Work with the sales processes and systems to ensure effective communication of customer information
  • Gain and understanding of how orders are processed and expedited, in order to handle queries as they arise, from either the customer or internal departments.
  • Support the team as required, with any other adhoc sales administration duties.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:


  • Previous
    sales, or
    sales administration experience would be ideal for this role.
  • A confident telephone manner, with a proactive approach is essential you will be expected to call customers, build rapport, qualify needs etc.
  • An interest in engineering, or previous experience of working in a more technical environment, would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable working to KPI's and working with CRM systems to manage and communicate the sales activity is required.
