Management Accountant l Central Manchester + Hybrid | ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified | Start Up

Job Overview:

An outstanding opportunity has presented itself on the market suited for a newly qualified Management Accountant looking for a career defining role.

Salary:
£45,000-£47,000

Benefits:

Discretionary bonus, up to 14% pension contribution, rising holiday entitlement starting at 2- increasing by one day per year, private health care, mobile phone, birthday off and more.

Location:
Central Manchester, Hybrid working (2 days in the office) with occasional travel to Wigan.

Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
Support and aid development of the monthly and weekly KPI reporting.
Actively enhancing and automating procedures through the use of Power Query and Power BI.
Support the preparation of internal and external monthly reporting to various stakeholders.
Support the Finance Business Partner in the production of the Budget and periodic reforecasts providing timely analysis of expected future financial performance.
Partner with the Commercial and Operations teams to understand the key inputs into the forecasts.
Support the development of the control environment.
Assist in the preparation of ESG reporting obligations.
Support the business on any M&A and transactional projects.

Person Specification:

CIMA/ ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant.
Excellent communicator, with the ability to work in a dynamic team.
Management Accounts background.
High level of organisation and project management skills.
Advanced Excel skill set.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

With a strong focus on development, the client has provided the potential succession route: Financial Controller, Finance Business Partner, Finance Director, Divisional Finance Director, Business Development Functions.
