PR & Communications Manager

£40,000-£49,500 + 7% bonus

Walsall | Hybrid (1 day office based per week)

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a leading home maintenance business to recruit a PR & Communications Manager onto the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver outstanding communications for this FTSE 250 business with a huge customer base and wide reach.

This is a key and influential role, operating across all levels within the business.

We are looking for a confident, 'outside the box' and creative thinker, that can drive and deliver external communications, and support the wider communications team tocreate superior branding and campaigns.

The PR & Communications Manager will:

Influence across all levels within the business
Manage the PR and media communications strategy
Build brand awareness and boost reputation
Write press releases and other external messaging and materials in the consistent messaging and with the businesses tone of voice
Develop engaging content collaboratively with the digital, social and content teams
Manage third party agencies and act as the internal liaison between teams
Track and measure brand performance

The PR & Communications Manager will have:

Demonstrable experience in delivering outstanding external communications
A background either in house or agency will be considered
Have experience across a range of communications channels: social media, digital content, broadcast, print etc.
Outstanding communications skills, written and verbal
The ability to storytell and create innovative content
Outstanding stakeholder management
